Former Big Brother participant Nacho Castañares commented on the period when his former colleague Romina Uhrig became addicted to drugs, noting that the fact put many people on "high alert." According to the Argentine News Agency, based on television statements, the young man considered that Uhrig's process "speaks of her courage in wanting to tell it" and added: "I didn't have it so present because we ended the relationship we had, but now everything is fine with her."
Castañares also stated: "We shared a lot outside and inside the house. Everything that was said led me to go out at night, I started to meet a lot of people, I was very fragile." He explained: "A person from the industry invited me to something and I started taking pills or MDMA. At that moment I was already thinking about the next time I was going to go out and I couldn't handle it. It's a sad situation, but I highlight that it's no longer happening, which is very important because she has daughters and a life, it was fundamental that she had that click."
In turn, Uhrig had previously stated: "It was a moment of falling and a lot of pain because we all came out with a lot of fame and exposure from the house. Today, thank God, I was able to get out of that crap," Uhrig concluded.
Castañares also referred to his confrontation with Coti Romero, his former partner, and stated: "There is a good relationship, after the link we had a process and she chose to distance herself."
In self-reference, the former "little brother" pointed out: "I didn't have to set boundaries because my environment didn't change after Big Brother and my friendships and convictions remain the same. They always took care of and accompanied me, today is no exception."
